2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit a general or investor enquiry, we may collect your name, organisation, role, work email, telephone number, enquiry category, message or purpose of request, and any other information you choose to provide.

Technical and security information

Our hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, requested pages, referral information, diagnostic data and security events. This is used to deliver and protect the site, prevent abuse and investigate faults.

Analytics information

If you consent, Google Analytics may collect information about visits and interactions, including pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source and session events. We configure analytics without advertising personalisation or Google Signals. Analytics remains off until consent is granted.

3. Why we use information

• Site operation and security: to provide the site, remember privacy choices, protect forms and prevent abuse. Our legal basis is legitimate interests and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
• Enquiries and business relationships: to respond, assess requests, take steps before a contract and manage business communications. Our legal basis is steps at your request, legitimate interests or contract.
• Analytics: to understand aggregate site use and improve performance. Our legal basis is consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legal and regulatory matters: to establish, exercise or defend legal claims and meet applicable requirements.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential storage is used without optional consent where necessary to operate and secure the site. Analytics storage is optional and is blocked unless you agree.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share information only as needed with group companies and trusted providers supporting hosting, security, form delivery, email, professional advice and analytics. Cloudflare supports form security and may also deliver and protect this site, including applying country-level access restrictions. Google processes analytics information only when you consent. Providers act under contractual terms and are permitted to use information only for authorised purposes, subject to their own legal duties.

We may also disclose information where required by law, a competent authority, a transaction involving the business, or to protect rights, safety and security. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. International transfers

Some providers or group operations may process information outside the United Kingdom or your country. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations, approved contractual clauses and supplementary security measures.

7. Retention and security

We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a business relationship, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Security logs and verification data are kept for periods appropriate to detecting and investigating abuse. Analytics retention is controlled in the Google Analytics account. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

UK, EEA and similar jurisdictions

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK, the regulator is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

United States

Residents of certain US states may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling. ShadowVu does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Where applicable, you may appeal a decision and may use an authorised agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To exercise a right, email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity and jurisdiction before completing a request.

9. Global Privacy Control and browser signals

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you have not already saved a choice, this site treats it as a request to reject optional analytics. You can still open “Manage privacy choices” to review the setting. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals are not consistently defined across the industry.

10. Children

This business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
